Five reasons to like Bears

World of Warcraft's portrayals of things are noticeably cartoony when compared to real life equivalents. Bears and druids in Bear Form are no different, being any combination of cute, adorable, cuddly, pitiable and likeable.

This regular will dissect the art of various characters to identify some features that appeal to the inner child.

1. Wide abdomen
A wide figure appeals to the touch when hugging, especially if it is soft and plushy. There is little question to why bear hugs, in particular, feel so nice!

A wild, non-druid bear, known for its tenacity.

2. Dance moves
When dancing, a Bear Form druid stands upright, then flails its limbs before dropping back on all fours. The dancing bear seems to try so hard to bust some moves, but ends up making a basic attempt at it. This is a reason to feel pity towards it.

3. Running animation
A bear's running is a distinct up-and-down galloping. This is reminiscent of a large bouncing ball (which can also be rather wide). However, the motion can seem rather hypnotic as well...

4. Falling animation
A falling bear flails its limbs (though not as much as when it dances) like if it were feeling around for solid ground. Poor bear!

5. Exaggerated backside
The buttocks are proportionally larger on their bear than those of many other animals. This enhances the plump profile and soft touch.
